Studio Ghibli animation just has this real weight to it. Food looks like what you’d think delicious food should look like when you picture it. Hair and clothes move like you feel they’d move. Emotion is a super physical thing (have you seen ghibli characters cry, cause they cry like how it feels to cry; big wet globs of tears and faces scrunched up you FEEL that). It’s wonderful and one of my favorite things about Ghibli.

Ghibli hugs are the kind of hugs I want to give and receive.
